Votive Candle
Beeswax Description
Arbutus Votive Candles do not come with containers, but must be burned inside a container, as they are designed to liquify somewhat while burning. These votives are a standard size that should fit your favourite votive holders.
- Votives should be burned until the melted wax pool reaches the side of the container.
- Beeswax burns at a higher temperature than soy. Please exercise caution around liquefied beeswax.
- Liquefy wax around the wick before lighting beeswax candles. Tilt the candle slightly while lighting.
Soy Wax Description
Arbutus Votive Candles do not come with containers, but must be burned inside a container, as they are designed to liquify somewhat while burning. These votives are a standard size that should fit your favourite votive holders.
- Votives should be burned until the melted wax pool reaches the side of the container.
- Soy wax is more brittle than paraffin or beeswax. Do not attempt to fold in sides of pillars or the candle may break.
- If dripping occurs, extinguish candle immediately to prevent major wax spills. Do not let the burn pool reach any holes in the sides of the candle.
