Sage is a sacred medicine for many Indigenous nations across Turtle Island (North/South America). They burn this dried plant to cleanse their bodies, hair, spirit, and environment in the smoke, also known as Smudging. The smoke carries their prayers to Creator and their Ancestors. They Smudge when they need to heal, pray, celebrate, or cleanse their environments.
