How to Use with a Shaving Brush Wet your shaving brush with warm water and shake out the excess. Load the brush by swirling it over the soap, then build the lather in a shaving bowl or directly on damp skin. Add small amounts of water as needed until the lather becomes smooth and creamy. 

How to Use Without a Brush Wet the soap and the area to be shaved with warm water. Work a small amount of soap between wet hands to create a lather, then massage it evenly onto the skin. Shave as usual and rinse thoroughly.
