Carrot tissue oil is a popular specialty oil as it is rich in beta carotene, vitamins B, C, D, E and essential fatty acids. This oil has a dark orange / yellow colour and will add a nice colour to lotions, creams, soap and other products it is used in. 

Carrot tissue oil is a medium to heavy weight oil because of the petroselinic acid (the C18:1 instead of oleic acid). It is also filled with free radical scavengers, anti-oxidants, and photo-protective carotenoids.
