  • Description Cedar Isle Farm's hull-less barley is considered a whole grain as it has had just the indigestible outer husk removed. It can be used in place of pearled barley which is not a whole grain and is not as nutritious. Pearled barley has lost its outer husk and its bran layer, and it has been polished. Hull-less barley is delicious used in soups, stews, risotto and pilaf. The grain crops are all grown and cared for at their family farm in Agassiz, B.C. and all their products are certified organic.
