Chamomile Flowers Description
- Ingredients Chamomile Flowers dried
- Origin Egypt
- Description Chamomile has served as a gentle cure-all herb for centuries. It is often used to calm and soothe the nervous system and the digestive tract and is mild enough to be consumed by children and babies. It can also be used topically for its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties on irritated skin and slow healing wounds. It is most often brewed as a tea. It has a mild, earthy flavor, slightly reminiscent of apples or pineapple. Dried flowers can also be added to baths for a relaxing effect, or used as a compress on the skin.
