Traditional use of the Shore Pine boughs included relief from body aches and pains and also in respiratory support. A bright and refreshing aroma with citrus-like qualities of these similar, versatile trees. This adaptable tree thrives in a wide range of ecosystems and soil types. The oil’s regenerative qualities reflect the character of the tree – once conditions are appropriate, these Pines are among the first to grow following forest fires and other forest disturbances. Pine is a valuable resource for Coastal Indigenous peoples as an essential building material, as well as a springtime delicacy and topical ailment for body soreness and aches.
